From what little remains of imperial records was known for many millennia, it was among the last knight patterns developed and actually fielded by the first human galactic civilization during the Dark Age of Technology, and its pattern was mysteriously lost during or at the end of the Age of Strife. Lost in the sands of time, this legendary and mysterious pattern is believed to be among the pinnacles of technological achievements of mankind and its disappearance is now considered a great loss to the Omnissiah. Artifex – just mentioning the name of this long-lost imperial knight pattern either sends a shiver down the spine of a tech priest and makes their mechadendrites rattle in excitement – provided they are fortunate enough to have access to this segmentum of imperial records.
